"I completely support the Dragonfly Mental Wellness Foundation. As your State Senator and past Douglas County Sheriff, I have seen negative mental health stigma as a great concern in our society. Some of these untreated mental health issues lead to the devastation of suicide. I’m a strong advocate for bringing these serious concerns out of darkness and into the light. The Dragonfly Mental Wellness Foundation does exactly that, by bringing public awareness to mental health issues. They assist with financial support of educators and students who are at high risk in our schools and social service programs. We are blessed to have this organization in our community so that we take the shame out of a mental health diagnosis. Your financial support and prayers, will go a long way."
