How We Serve the Community

Dragonfly Mental Wellness Foundation is dedicated to educating, serving, and supporting those touched by mental illness.

Offering Support

A vast number of organizations and services are easily referenced in our Dragonfly Mental Wellness Foundation (DMWF) Resource Guide.
Our intent is to provide individuals with the guidance and resources they need to be educated and directed to the proper assistance and care. This mental health guide is distributed strategically throughout the community.

Community Engagement

DMWF is continuously energized by new opportunities to share our mission with the community. You will often find us participating with other local mental health organizations to bring awareness to the importance of mental wellness.

Creative Fund Raising is the heart of our board activities. Events such as our annual Designer Purse Bingo capture spirited fun with a purpose. Our DMWF Pop-Up Shopping offers attractive apparel and accessory designs with meaningful mental health messages. In addition, our social media approach shares significant messages with the intent to offer timely and consistent support and encouragement.

Collaboration

Through our Gap Assistance Program, mental health care providers can identify clients that need our Foundation’s financial help to receive care; preventing individuals from falling through the gaps in obtaining their much needed help.

Vital mental health care saves lives.

Partnering with our local mental health leaders

"Thanks to the Dragonfly GAP program,  I have been able to provide some unexpected relief for clients already under overwhelming distress in their lives.  When people have even temporary assistance reducing obstacles for their mental health care, they are moved in hope, grace and sense of community."

Encouragement

Dragonfly Scholarship Program awards financial support to high school graduates pursuing a college education in a mental health related field (social work, psychology, addiction counseling, etc.) By offering academic financial support, personal dreams are achieved and more professional help is available.
